About Page Advice Manufacturing...
Advice Manufacturing is dedicated to 2 simple things. Firstly, to provide small manufacturing businesses with practical, hands-on-help to dramatically improve, beat the competition and thrive. Secondly, to directly assist people fulfil their career potential, earn more and be the best engineers they can be. We link these two, by providing guidance to help combat the skills shortage currently holding back many manufacturers.
Because Advice Manufacturing is targeted specifically at busy small businesses and individuals, everything is geared towards those with little time, scarce resources, and perhaps gaps in their knowledge. Our approach is to keep it simple and get things done. We offer advice, hints and guidance, together with suggestions to tailor the information to your unique circumstances.
Advice Manufacturing focuses on step-by-step application and rapid results. We distil what the best performers do, with examples and demos, and use digital media to offer you something fresh and distinctive. Importantly, for maximum impact, we encourage engineers to bring this know-how directly to where it is actually used - the shop floor, the workshop, the design office, the research lab – wherever it’s needed. Paper is good, but mobile media comes into its own here.
Apart from a massive amount of advice on this site, collaboration, links and partnerships enable vast amounts of assistance to be accessed quickly and conveniently. We’re an engineering resource to compliment your specialist technical skills. Again, it’s all about a relentless focus on results - ordinary people, armed with examples, tools and knowledge, making a big difference in the workplace and in their careers.
Thanks for your on-going support!
